AFU carry out attacks with tanks north of Verbove in Melitopol direction – ISW
Ukrainian forces continued offensive operations in Melitopol direction (west of Zaporizhia region), according to a review by the American Institute for the Study of War (ISW).
In particular, it is reported that the Ukrainian Armed Forces carried out more large-scale than usual attacks with the support of tanks to the north of Verbove (9 km east of Robotyne) and that mutual shelling continues. In addition, positional battles continue on Kopani-Robotyne line (up to 5 km northwest of Robotyne).
The review also says that the AFU continued ground operations on the eastern (left) bank of Kherson region, and on November 13 they managed to advance. It is emphasized that on November 12 and November 13, Ukrainian forces maintained positions in the village of Krynki (30 km northeast of Kherson region and 2 km from Kherson region) and slightly expanded their control zone south of the settlement.
As for Avdiyivka direction, according to ISW, Ukrainian forces control at least half of the Avdiyivka coke plant and the alleged reports of the seizure of the plant by Russian troops are false.
ISW analysts also did not see visual confirmation that Russian troops had ousted the AFU from several unspecified positions in the industrial zone on the southern flank of Avdiyivka.
