The next meeting of national security advisers and diplomatic advisers to leaders on the implementation of the Ukrainian Peace Formula will take place in the near future and, according to Ukraine’s estimates, will bring together over 50 representatives of different states, said Deputy Head of the President’s Office Ihor Zhovkva.

“The Global Peace Summit is on the agenda. Nothing is being postponed [against the backdrop of events in the Middle East]. The President of Ukraine today has held telephone conversations with the Prime Minister of Norway and the President of France about holding a Global Summit at the level of leaders. Before this, another meeting will take place national security advisers and representatives of the foreign ministries of the respective countries,” Zhovkva said during the telethon.

As he noted, “this meeting is planned in the near future and, according to Ukraine’s estimates, over 50 representatives of states will gather at it.”

According to Zhovkva, within the framework of the meeting, an assessment will be made of the work already carried out based on the results of two previous meetings in Copenhagen and Jeddah, the participants will approve road maps and final wording on the points of the Peace Formula, its philosophy.

He also noted that Ukraine expects at this preparatory meeting to determine the exact time and place of the Global Peace Summit.

In addition, according to the Deputy Head of the President’s Office, “against the backdrop of events in the Middle East, the Global Peace Summit becomes even more relevant, since the Peace Formula can also be applied in one way or another to events in Israel so that they do not lead to even greater escalation.” .
