Fighting going on in Makariv, Irpin, Hostomel, Borodianka, occupiers do not provide humanitarian corridors - head of Kyiv region military administration

Head of Kyiv region military administration Oleksiy Kuleba reported on the difficult humanitarian situation in the cities of the northern part of the region, where fighting continues.

"Humanitarian aid remains the main issue today. Bucha, Irpin, Hostomel, Makariv, Borodianka, Vorzel - the inhabitants of these settlements have been forced to stay in bomb shelters for days without water and food. The occupiers do not provide humanitarian corridors, do not give guarantees of a ceasefire," Kuleba said in a video message on his YouTube channel on Tuesday.

According to him, everything possible is being done to help those in need. "Every day, every hour, every minute we demand a regime of silence. We will promptly and immediately send help and evacuate our people – we have everything ready for this. I also ask the residents of Kyiv region to contact our helpline so that we know every address, every building where we have to go and who needs help and evacuation. We are doing everything to stop the humanitarian catastrophe in Kyiv region," Kuleba said.

The head of the regional administration noted that the Russian invaders continue to accumulate troops and equipment, shell residential areas and social infrastructure of Kyiv region, and also threaten the heads of communities with reprisals and demand to surrender settlements. "This will not happen. We will not be intimidated. We do not give up and are not going to retreat. We feel that the enemy is tired and demoralized, but we are not - we will endure and continue to fight back," Kuleba said.
