Over the past day, Russian-occupation forces in Donbas violated the ceasefire four times, Ukrainian servicemen were not wounded, the press center of the Joint Force Operation (JFO) headquarters said.

"Over the past day, on February 17, in the area of the Joint Force Operation, four ceasefire violations were recorded. There are no combat casualties among our soldiers," the JFO headquarters said in a statement on Facebook on Thursday morning.

In the area of responsibility of the Skhid (East) task force, occupation forces fired towards the Ukrainian positions from 82-caliber mortars and heavy anti-tank grenade launchers near Novomykhailivka. Near the settlement of Slavne, the enemy used automatic easel and easel anti-tank grenade launchers against the Ukrainian soldiers.

In the area of responsibility of the Pivnich (North) task force, occupation forces opened fire from hand-held anti-tank grenade launchers and heavy machine guns near Pivdenne, and near Shumy fired at Ukrainian positions with automatic heavy grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and sniper weapons.

"Since the beginning of this day, on February 18, the situation in the area of the Joint Force Operation is controlled by the Ukrainian soldiers, no ceasefire violations have been recorded," the headquarters said.
