Russian-led forces violate ceasefire in Donbas 13 times on Friday

Russian-led illegal armed formations violated the ceasefire, having mounted 13 attacks on the Ukrainian army in Donbas, eastern Ukraine, from 07:00 to 18:00 Kyiv time on Friday, September 14, the press center of the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) has said.

"From 07:00 to 18:00 today, the Russian occupation forces violated the ceasefire 13 times, including with the use of weapons prohibited by the Minsk Agreements. (...) No losses among the military of the Joint Forces have been reported during the day," it said on Facebook on Friday.

During the day, the enemy opened fire from cannons of infantry fighting vehicles, grenade launchers of various systems, large-caliber machine guns and small arms to attack JFO positions near the villages of Stanytsia Luhanska, Zhovte, Krymske, Novotoshkivske, Krasnohorivka, Chermalyk, Pavlopil, Lebedynske, and Vodiane.

"In the event of a threat to servicemen's life, the commanders ordered to fire back, forcing the enemy into ceasing fire," the press center said. The situation in the Joint Forces Operation remains under control, it said.
