Mobile heating points of the Ukrainian Red Cross Society (URCS) continue to operate in the city of Kyiv and Kyiv region.

"The situation in Kyiv and the region remains difficult… Mobile heating points deployed by the Ukrainian Red Cross Society and the State Emergency Service of Ukraine continue to operate and provide assistance to the population. Our teams are working continuously in areas where, as a result of repeated [Russian] attacks on energy infrastructure facilities, people have been left without electricity, water, and heat supply," the URCS reported on Facebook on Wednesday.

In Kyiv, three tents operated by the State Emergency Service and one tent operated by the URCS are functioning on the left bank of the capital. On Tuesday alone, 243 people were able to recharge their mobile devices, 470 people received hot drinks, and 166 children were provided with psychosocial support. Volunteers distributed 690 portions of hot meals.

A heating point has also been deployed in the city of Boryspil (Kyiv region), where local residents can receive psychological assistance, hot meals and drinks, warm up, and recharge their gadgets.

The URCS's partners in this situation are the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement and the U.S. Department of State.
