Russia's hybrid military forces have mounted 18 attacks on Ukrainian army positions in Donbas in the past 24 hours, with one Ukrainian soldier reported as wounded in action (WIA) on Friday, the press centre of the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) has reported.

"The militants have attacked Ukrainian positions in Donbas 18 times in the past 24 hours, wounding one Ukrainian serviceman. Heavy weapons were not used," the press center of the JFO headquarters said on its Facebook page on Friday morning.

Militants shelled Ukrainian army positions near the populated localities of Krymske, Zhovte, Luhanske, Svitlodarsk, Mayorske, Avdiyivka, Pisky, Kamyanka, Novotroyitske, Novomykhailivka, Lebedynske, Hnutove, Shyrokyne, and Vodiane.

"By their provocative actions, the invaders tried to force the Joint Forces to fire back to continue blaming Ukraine for non-compliance with the newly agreed ceasefire," the JFO press center said.

According to intelligence reports, three enemy troops were killed and another one was wounded.
