Savchenko ready to join TCG

Ukrainian MP Nadia Savchenko of the Batkivschyna faction has proposed her candidacy for the Trilateral Contact Group (TCG) on the settlement of the situation in the east of Ukraine.
"If the Minsk group failed to make arrangements ... why not enhance it at the expense of other people. I've repeatedly offered my candidacy to strengthen the Minsk Group," Savchenko said in the air of 112. Ukraine TV channel on Monday evening.
Savchenko said that she didn't receive responses to her proposals.
"I did not hear a direct answer, except from Gerashchenko [First Deputy Verkhovna Rada Speaker and member of the Minsk Trilateral Talks Iryna Gerashchenko], who said that she is working according to some declaration, approved by the president," Savchenko said.
The MP also said that she doesn't coordinate her actions with the Batkivschyna faction.
"I really do not coordinate my working trips, my vision, either my actions with the Batkivschyna party," Savchenko said, emphasizing that she remains in the faction. "I'm staying in the composition of the Batkivschyna faction. We are performing mutual work in the Verkhovna Rada," the MP said.
Savchenko also believes that her meeting in Minsk with the leaders of the so-called DPR and LPR Alexander Zakharchenko and Igor Plotnitsky won't make them legal.
