European Commission to settle date for publishing report on visa free regime for Ukraine after completion of internal procedures
The European Commission will settle the date for publishing a report on visa free regime for Ukraine after the completion of corresponding internal procedures, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry's spokesperson Mariana Betsa has told Interfax-Ukraine.
She said that Kyiv and Brussels continue working on the report of the European Commission on visa free regime for Ukraine.
"Now the European Commission in cooperation with the Foreign Ministry of Ukraine and other participating executive power agencies continues working on the assessment of the state of the implementation of the criteria of the second phase of the action plan and the commission's recommendations by Ukraine. The concrete terms for publishing the report will be defined by the European Commission after completing corresponding internal procedures," she said.
She said that under the Ukraine-EU visa free dialog schedule agreed with the European Commission it is expected that the report on visa free regime will be published in the near term.
