Employees of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) have conducted a search of the premises of one of Energoatom's directors.

The law enforcement agents found documents proving the use of offshore schemes in supplies of fuel for Ukrainian nuclear power plants, as well as proof of shipment of SNF to Russia for storage.

"In the accommodation of one of Energoatom's directors, [SBU] found documents proving that officials of the state-run company had used offshore schemes when supplying fresh furl for Ukrainian NPPs. The same offshore schemes were used when shipping SNF to Russia for storage. The law enforcers also found stamps of Russian companies involved in the affair," the SBU press service reported on Friday.
