Akhmetov's humanitarian convoy delivers 550,000 of food sets to Donbas

A second convoy of trucks with Rinat Akhmetov's humanitarian aid has arrived to Mariupol during this week, the press service of the humanitarian Centre Aid+Help of Rinat Akhmetov Foundation has reported.

"Starting from August, as a part of the Rinat Akhmetov's humanitarian aid some 550,000 food sets have been delivered to Donbas, which will cover a need in food for over one million of people. As of today, over 350,000 of food sets have been delivered to the cities and towns of Donetsk and Luhansk regions, and over 250,000 of them has been spread among people. The largest amount of aid was sent to Donetsk city, Mariupol town, Pervomaisk, Novoazovsk and Sloviansk districts, Sviatohorsk, Horlivka, Kirovske, Avdiyivka, Krasnodon and Sverdlovsk (Rovenky). Along with food sets, which include flour, cereals, oil, sugar, cans, condensed milk, biscuits, candles and matches, the humanitarian convoy delivered baby food and sanitary kits," reads the report.

Volunteers package and help to distribute the humanitarian aid, including volunteers of FC Shakhtar and the Donbas Arena stadium.
