There are no Ukrainians among those affected by the floods in Austria, Germany and the Czech Republic, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry has reported.

"There were no reports about there being Ukrainian citizens among those affected," Acting Director of the Foreign Ministry's Information Policy Department Yevhen Perebyinis said at a briefing on Tuesday on Tuesday.

He said that according to the Ukrainian Embassy in Austria, heavy rain in this country had led to new multiple floods and that thousands of volunteers were working in flood-affected regions along with firefighters and servicemen.

According to Ukrainian diplomats in Germany, water levels in the rivers of the country are gradually falling, and the most critical situation was reported in the city of Magdeburg.

"According to Ukraine's Consulate General in Munich, water levels have significantly dropped over the last few days, but the consulate general proposes refraining from traveling to the south of Bavaria with extreme necessity due to excessive rainfall," Perebyinis said.

In addition, he said, water levels in the rivers in the Czech Republic are constantly decreasing, but a state of emergency declared by the government still remains in force.
