Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych has presented his condolences to U.S. President Barack Obama over the terrorist attacks in Boston. "Ukraine was deeply grieved to receive the news of the terrorist attacks in the city of Boston. Unfortunately, a sports event that should have served as a cause of peace and bringing people together has been made the scene of a massacre. Ukraine strongly condemns terrorism in all its forms and supports the active efforts of the international community to eradicate this shameful phenomenon," the president's press service quoted Yanukovych on Tuesday. "On behalf of the Ukrainian people and myself, I extend our heartfelt condolences to your and to the bereaved families, and am asking you to convey words of support and wishes for a speedy recovery to the injured," Yanukovych said in his letter to Obama.
