AeroSvit extends temporary schedule for January 10-14

AeroSvit, which earlier flew on 80 international routes, from January 15 will continue flights in accordance with the reduced route schedule set for January 10-14, including five long-haul and medium-haul routes abroad and a number of routes inside Ukraine.

"AeroSvit restored the regularity of flights under the current schedule," the airline said on Monday.

The airline, in particular, will continue servicing long-haul routes to Beijing, New York, Ho Chi Minh City, Bangkok, and Goa.

The reduced network of international medium-haul flights includes the routes of Kyiv-Moscow, Kyiv-St. Petersburg, Kyiv-Istanbul, Odesa-Istanbul, and Kyiv-Tashkent.

According to the document, on Monday the online timetable at Boryspil airport was brought into full compliance with this reduced schedule. Previously it indicated that all the flights foreseen in the former schedule of the company would be valid until January 11, in order to inform passengers on the status of flights.

At the same time, changes are possible in the new schedule, therefore the airline asks passengers to follow the changes on its Web site. In particular, on January 15 it canceled three Kyiv-Moscow-Kyiv flights and on January 16 - two similar flights.

AeroSvit notes that in addition to the regular schedule it also organized the delivery of passengers on the routes, on which the company halted operations. Thus, on January 10-14, it performed 14 extra return flights to and from Prague, Tbilisi, Astana, Baku, Sofia, Larnaca, Yerevan and Kaliningrad, carrying 2,200 passengers.
