Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych has decided to dismiss Vitaliy Travianko, who ran for parliament in troubled constituency 132, from the post of a deputy head of Mykolaiv Regional State Administration.

This information was posted on the official Web site of the president on Wednesday.

As reported, Travianko is a candidate of the Party of Regions running in constituency 132 (Pervomaisk, Mykolaiv region), where he competed with the candidate of the United Opposition, Arkadiy Kornatsky.

The Central Election Commission first reported that with all votes counted in the constituency, Kornatsky won with 39.66% of the vote, 4,167 votes ahead of Travianko, who received 34.09%. However, when the CEC received a vote count protocol from the constituency, Travianko was declared the winner. Constituency No. 132 is among those where a repeat vote may be announced.
