Azarov urges international observers to be objective about Rada elections

The Ukrainian authorities will not agree with preconceived and biased assessments of the elections to the Verkhovna Rada by international observers, Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov has said.

"Biased conclusions will not help our bilateral relations, nor the development of Ukraine. So I would ask only one thing - to be completely objective, as is required from international observers, and to make your assessment based on the criteria with which we agree. We saw the OSCE criteria and we agree with them," he said at a meeting with international observers and representatives of diplomatic missions in Kyiv on Friday.

"Biased assessments, I should say, will change absolutely nothing, they will only worsen our relations, because we will not agree with preconceived and biased assessments," the prime minister said.
