Tymoshenko's colleagues arrive at hospital for meeting with ex-premier
The leaders of the Batkivschyna United Opposition Oleksandr Turchynov, Arseniy Yatseniuk, Hryhoriy Nemyria, and Serhiy Pashynsky have entered the territory of Kharkiv-based central Clinical Hospital No. 5, where former Ukrainian Premier Yulia Tymoshenko is undergoing treatment.
An Interfax-Ukraine reporter said that the politicians entered the hospital at around 1405.
The ex-premier's supporters welcomed the oppositionists by chanting "Free Yulia!"
There are also around 15 protesters against Tymoshenko outside the territory of the hospital.
As soon as the opposition leaders entered the hospital, the protesters started chanting "We Support Equal Rights. Tymoshenko Isn't Right!" In response, Tymoshenko's supporters started singing Ukrainian folk songs.
According to the reporter, the supporters and opponents of Tymoshenko argue from time to time. The police are maintaining public order.
