Ukraine shoots down 450 Russian targets at night, hits by 27 enemy missiles and 31 UAVs reported – AFU

On the night of February 3, Russian invaders carried out a combined strike on Ukraine using various types of air- and ground-based missiles and strike UAVs, the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has reported.

"In total, radio-technical troops of the Air Force detected 521 means of air attack: four Zircon/Oniks missiles (launch area: temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea), 32 Iskander-M/S-300 ballistic missiles (launch areas: Briansk region, Russia, temporarily occupied territory of Crimea), seven Kh-22/Kh-32 cruise missiles (from the airspace of Briansk region, Russia), 28 Kh-101/Iskander-K cruise missiles (Caspian Sea waters, Kursk region, Russia), 450 strike UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas types and drones of other types from the directions of: Briansk, Kursk, Oryol, Shatalovo, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Russia, about 300 of them were Shahed UAVs," the statement on the Telegram channel reads.

The main strike directions were Kyiv, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Vinnytsia and Odesa regions.

"According to preliminary data, as of 09:30, air defense shot down/suppressed 450 targets – 38 missiles and 412 drones of various types: four Zircon/Oniks missiles, 11 Iskander-M/S-300 ballistic missiles, three Kh-22/Kh-32 cruise missiles, 20 Kh-101/Iskander-K cruise missiles, 412 strike UAVs of various types," the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported.

Hits by 27 missiles and 31 strike UAVs were recorded at 27 locations, as well as falls of downed UAVs (debris) at 17 locations.

Information about six enemy missiles is being clarified.

The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units and unmanned systems, and mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.

The attack is ongoing, with several enemy UAVs in the airspace.
