Units of the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in cooperation with other units of the Defense Forces, struck the Syzran Oil Refinery in Samara Region, the Sokhranivka Main Gas Pipeline Linear Production Division, and the oil pumping infrastructure of the occupiers in Rostov Region of Russia on Tuesday night, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported on its Telegram channel.

"On the night of March 4, units of the Unmanned Systems Forces, in cooperation with other components of the Defense Forces, carried out a DeepStrike on the Syzran Oil Refinery. It is located 800 km from the Ukrainian border in Samara Region and belongs to Rosneft," the Unmanned Systems Forces reports.

It is noted that the products of the refinery, which is capable of processing 8.9 million tonnes of oil per year, are supplied, including to the Russian army. However, due to regular strikes, the actual volume of oil processing at the refinery in 2024 was significantly lower and amounted to about 4.3 million tonnes. "The last time the plant stopped its work was after an attack on the night of February 19," the Unmanned Systems Forces added.

"Also, the Unmanned Systems Forces operators directed strike drones at the Sokhranivka Main Gas Pipeline Linear Production Division in Rostov region. It is engaged in the transportation of natural gas. Another facility in the region that burned this night is the 915 km oil pumping station, located near the village of Chertkovo," the Unmanned Systems Forces noted.

As reported, representatives of local authorities announced a fire on the territory of the warehouse of an industrial facility in Sokhranivka and a hit on an oil pipeline with subsequent ignition.

It is also reported that in Rovenky in the temporarily occupied territories of Luhansk region, fire damage was inflicted on a fuel and lubricants storage base, from which oil products are supplied for the needs of the Russian army.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine noted that detailed information on the consequences of the damage to the facilities is currently being clarified.
