Six URCS crews work in Zaporizhia after Russian attack at night

Six crews of the rapid response unit of the Ukrainian Red Cross Society (URCS) in Zaporizhia region helped the victims after the Russian missile and drone attack on the regional center on the night of January 23.
"The rapid response unit of the Ukrainian Red Cross Society in Zaporizhia region worked at the scene along with other special services of the city. Six volunteer crews were involved in responding to the shelling of the city," the URCS reported on Facebook on Thursday.
The volunteers provided first aid to three victims on the spot, five wounded were handed over to ambulance doctors after first aid, and one was transported to the hospital. In addition, the URCS volunteers provided first psychological aid to more than 20 victims.
Currently, the team of the Zaporizhia regional organization of the Ukrainian Red Cross Society continues to work in places that have come under Russian attack. Volunteers are delivering humanitarian aid to the victims.
As reported, as a result of the missile and drone attack of Russian occupiers on Zaporizhia on the night of Thursday, one person was killed, 26 were injured, including a baby, one multi-story building was destroyed, and 30 were damaged. During the repeated shelling, rescuers who eliminated the consequences of the first strike were wounded.
