Over the past 24 hours and as of 10:00 on Tuesday, December 24, units of the Defense Forces shot down 36 enemy UAVs, and 23 imitator drones were locally lost, the press service of the Ukrainian Air Force reported.

"As of 10:00, the downing of 36 Shahed-type attack UAVs and other types of drones in Poltava, Sumy, Kharkiv, Kyiv, Chernihiv, Zaporizhia, Dnipropetrovsk and Khmelnytsky regions has been confirmed," the press service of the Air Force said in a statement on Telegram.

It is reported that from 10:00 on December 23 to 09:00 on December 24, 2024, the enemy attacked with 60 Shahed-type strike UAVs and other types of drones from the directions of Bryansk, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (Russia).

It is indicated that the air attack was repelled by anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, mobile fire groups of the Air Force and the Defense Forces of Ukraine.

"Due to active counteraction by the Defense Forces, 23 enemy drone imitators were locally lost [without negative consequences]. One UAV is in the air," the press service reports.
