AMCU Head Kyrylenko posts UAH 30 mln bail - SAPO
Head of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine (AMCU) Pavlo Kyrylenko suspected of illegal enrichment, posted UAH 30 million bail and will be under procedural obligations, including wearing an electronic bracelet.
"He posted bail, as previously determined by the High Anti-Corruption Court (HACC)," said the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAPO).
Earlier, the HACC chose a preventive measure for Kyrylenko in the form of a UAH 30 million bail and procedural obligations, including wearing an electronic means of control.
The court specified that a suspect who is not in custody, within five days from the date of the selection of a preventive measure in the form of bail, is obliged to deposit funds into the appropriate account or ensure their deposit by the bailor and provide a document confirming this.
In addition, if bail is posted, the suspect will wear an electronic means of control. At the same time, other procedural obligations will be imposed on him: to appear at the first request to the detective, prosecutor and the court, not to leave the city of Kyiv without the permission of the detective, prosecutor or court, to inform the detective, prosecutor and court about a change of residence and place of work, to refrain from communicating with the persons specified in the court ruling, to hand over the passport (passports) for traveling abroad for safekeeping.

The pre-trial investigation established that in 2020-2023 the official, while holding the position of head of the regional state administration, acquired 21 real estate properties and one luxury car by registering the property rights to his wife's relatives.
