Nova Poshta suspends shipment of products to EU due to restrictions on import of Ukrainian agricultural goods

The Nova Poshta group of companies has suspended the acceptance of food products for shipment to all EU countries due to the introduction of import restrictions at the Polish customs, the company's press service reported.

"We are waiting for further clarifications from the governments of Poland and Ukraine on the possible timing of the resumption of such shipments," the report says.

All branches of Nova Poshta temporarily do not accept any products as part of international parcels sent to the EU due to the introduction by the Polish government of temporary restrictions on the import and transit of a number of food products from Ukraine - sugar, cereals, confectionery, fruits, vegetables etc.

Nova Poshta, founded in 2001, is the leader in the express delivery market in Ukraine. The company's network consists of more than 6,000 branches throughout the country. Nova Poshta Group provides customers with a full range of logistics and related services. The group includes Ukrainian and foreign companies, including Nova Poshta, NP Logistic, Post Finance (Forpost system) and Nova Poshta Global.
