PM intends to announce tender to select fiscal service head after completion of talks with IMF

Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman plans to announce a tender to select the head of the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine after the completion of talks with the International Monetary Fund (IMF).

"Now we will complete negotiations with international partners... As soon as we decide on a new model [for reform of the State Fiscal Service], and we are already at their finalization, we will then announce the tender," he said on the Freedom of Speech talk show on Monday.

According to him, the documents for the start of the tender procedure are ready.

"The documents for the announcement of the tender are ready. We only have to decide on the legal entities of the State Fiscal Service and the customs office - whether it will be one legal entity or two. If there is one - one tender, if two - two tenders," he said.

As reported, early September, the then acting head of the State Fiscal Service, Myroslav Prodan, resigned on his own accord. The Cabinet of Ministers declared its intention to announce a tender for this position, and the Cabinet of Ministers authorized Oleksandr Vlasov, the former head of the Odesa Customs Office, to be acting head of the fiscal agency.

The head of the State Fiscal Service, Roman Nasirov, who was dismissed by the Cabinet of Ministers, was selected at a tender.
