Social Policy Minister of Ukraine Andriy Reva does not rule out that the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine would refuse increasing the price of gas for households from October 1, 2018 with a lack of agreement with the International Monetary Fund (IMF).

"The public service obligations (PSO) resolution [has been extended several times]. If there were no agreement on the new price of gas, and it would not be agreed on with international partners, there is a likelihood that the resolution would be extended in the future. We do not rule out any options in the issue," he told reporters on Wednesday.

As reported, the IMF and Ukrainian authorities are holding talks on further cooperation.

The National Bank of Ukraine is waiting for the decision on gas tariffs and some issues of the national budget to receive funds from the IMF.
