SPF introduces first 18 small enterprises for privatization to e-sales system

The State Property Fund of Ukraine (SPF) in two days introduced first 18 small companies that are subject to privatization to the electronic sales system, on particular, facilities in Lviv and Zhytomyr, First Deputy Economic Development and Trade Minister of Ukraine Maskym Nefyodov has said.

"These are the first lots that are put up for sale by cities, in this case - Zhytomyr and Lviv, but in a few days, at most, in a week, their number will reach hundreds," he said at a meeting with Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman at the ProZorro.Sales state-owned enterprise on Tuesday.

As SPF Head Vitaliy Trubarov said, the fund intends to complete the procedure for entering lots into the system until Thursday.

"The SPF has signed agreements with 18 authorized operators of the Prozorro.Sales electronic trading system for the sale of small enterprises subject to privatization. Now all 716 facilities a, which are planned for sale in 2018, re being added to the system and the first sales announcements will be made on July 27 through July 31," Trubarov wrote on his Facebook page.

According to him, there are 35 days for bids from potential buyers, and the first auction is planned for early September.

Groysman said that at the nearest meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers it is planned to consider a package of legal documents on electronic auctions to issue licenses by the State Service of Ukraine for Geology and Deposits.

"I think that the day after tomorrow, on Thursday, we will pass a package of seven resolutions on the free sale of licenses from the State Service of Ukraine for Geology and Deposits," he said.

In addition, the prime minister said that in August the Cabinet also intends to consider regulatory legal documents on mandatory electronic auctions for wood.

Small-scale privatization involves the sale of state-owned or municipal property, the value of which does not exceed UAH 250 million.
