Metinvest, a mining and metallurgical group, has repaid $56.7 million on new eurobonds with maturity on December 31, 2021, the group said on the website of the Irish Stock Exchange.

According to the report, this amount consists of $26.445 million interest income for the period from August 18 to November 18, 2017, $20.138 million of the previously capitalized interest income, and $10.108 million of the sum principal.

After this payment, the total volume of the issue decreased to $1.187 billion.

As reported, Metinvest in late May 2016 agreed with the creditors' committee the restructuring of eurobonds and PXF financing. The agreement involved the conversion of all three issues of eurobonds into a single issue with maturity until December 31, 2021 and four syndicated credit lines on PXF financing into one credit line.

At the end of March 2017, the company issued a new single new issue of eurobonds worth $1.197 billion and formalized a new credit line on PXF financing for $1.109 billion.
