Ukrtatnafta demands declaring Dniproavia bankrupt

The Economic Court of Dnipropetrovsk region will consider the application of PJSC Ukrtatnafta (Kremenchuk, Poltava region) to declare PJSC Dniproavia airline bankrupt.

According to a report on the court's website, the application will be considered on October 23, 2017.

The court in September 2016 decided to recover a debt of UAH 163 million from Dniproavia on the lawsuit of Ukrtatnafta.

Ukrtatnafta operates Kremenchuk oil refinery with the designed capacity of 18.6 million tonnes per year and the nominal one of about 7.3 million tonnes per year. Naftogaz Ukrainy owns a 43.05% stake in Ukrtatnafta, another 28% is controlled by the structures of Privat Group and businessman Oleksandr Yaroslavsky.

Dniproavia carries out regular and charter flights to the countries of Europe, Middle East, and the CIS. It is one of the largest Ukrainian air carriers.
