PrivatBank: all payments of corporate clients re
PrivatBank (Dnipro) has resumed servicing payments of corporate clients and other economic entities irrespective the date when funds arrived to their accounts, the bank reported on Tuesday.
"PrivatBank has resumed servicing payments of individual businessmen and companies as it was planned. A first payment has been already settled. All payments initiated yesterday will be finalized today," the Finance Ministry reported.
The ministry said that the working day on Tuesday will be extended to settle all payments of taxes and duties to avoid penalties.
"The penalties will not be applied to all tax payments of corporate clients created in the due time, irrespective of their physical settlement," PrivatBank said.
As reported, the government under a proposal of the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) and shareholders in PrivatBank on December 18 made the decision to nationalize the financial institutions: the state would receive 100% of the bank's capital, and the issue of government domestic loan bonds for this purpose is estimated at UAH 116.8-148 billion.
The bank suspended transactions of companies on December 19 and on December 20 in the morning resumed them partially restricting the access to the funds kept on the accounts before December 19.
