A list of goods that could officially cross the contact line in Donbas is being agreed, Advisor to Minister for the Temporarily Occupied Territories and Internally Displaced Persons of Ukraine Yuriy Hrymchak has said.

"There is understanding that for example, food can cross the contact line as we partially lose from the economic and political point of view. The list is being agreed. It will be published. Some issues regarding goods crossing the contact line unlawfully could be lifted," Hrymchak said to the Donbas.Realiyi project of Radio Liberty.

He said that goods unlawfully sent to the territory of Donbas that beyond control of Ukraine are not smuggled goods.

"This is called unlawful movement of goods across the contact line. When I hear smuggling, this is wrong from the legal point of view. Secondly, smuggling exists on the borders of recognized countries. We do not have borders with any other country there. This is Ukraine, but it is temporally occupied," he said.
