Canadian Premier Trudeau visits Mystetkyi Arsenal in Kyiv

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau met with the Ukrainian President's Envoy for the Crimean Tatar people Mustafa Jemilev and Head of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar People Refat Chubarov in Mystetskyi Arsenal on Sunday evening.

Canadian Prime Minister has also met public figures, journalists, volunteers and other activists, according to the official Facebook page of the president's envoy.

It was reported earlier that during Justin Trudeau's visit he intended to hold a meeting with President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman and Verkhovna Rada Chairman Andriy Parubiy.

A free trade area agreement (FTA) is expected to be signed between Ukraine and Canada.

The prime minister of Canada also intends to lay flowers at the memorial on the Alley of the Heavenly Hundred Heroes, The Memorial in Commemoration of Famine Victims, the monument of Eternal Glory on the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and the monument at Babyn Yar in Kyiv.

On July 12 the head of the Canadian government intends to visit Canadian military men who train Ukrainian military servicemen on Yavoriv training area in Lviv region.
