Some 3,475 tenders worth UAH 497 million have been announced via the ProZorro system in Donetsk region since year start, the press service of the Donetsk regional military and civil administration has said.

According to the report, procurement organizers have completed 1,122 tender procedures for UAH 46.6 million. Budget savings amounted to UAH 8.37 million, or 18%.

Head of the Donetsk regional military and civil administration Pavlo Zhebrivsky reported purchases, carried out by budgetary funds managers in Donetsk region, must pass through the ProZorro electronic trading system. According to him, "the task of the system is to remove officials from cash management."

"Once again I repeat that theft of budget funds during the war is equal to looting and punishment will be relevant," he said.

As reported, Donetsk region became the first region of Ukraine, where the e-procurement system was introduced.
