The production provision center, a branch of public joint-stock company Ukrzaliznytsia, on March 18, 2-16 signed a diesel fuel supply deal with WOG Aero Jet fuel trader.

The company’s press service reported that a threat of halting railways operations due to blocking a tender to buy diesel fuel has been lifted. Fuel will be shipped in accordance with current needs.

"We can say that the situation is stable. Ukrzaliznytsia has received a fuel supplier. The Antimonopoly Committee quickly heard claims of companies about the tender procedure. The committee dismissed the claims. This is evidence that the diesel fuel tender was held absolutely transparently, as prescribed in the law," Head of the production provision center Daniil Mizin said.

WOG Aero Jet is to deliver 100,000 tonnes of diesel fuel.

"The branch will hold more tenders to select diesel fuel suppliers in the near term. The price formula pegged to Platts would be approved by this time," he said.
