Russia bans Turkish companies from construction, tourism, hotel business from Jan 1

Russia will ban companies under Turkish jurisdiction or controlled by Turkish citizens from engaging in the construction, tourism and hotel businesses in Russia, and from operating in the area of engineering-technical design and provision of services for state and municipal needs, effective from January 1, 2016, according to the text of a Cabinet resolution distributed on Wednesday.
Turkish companies will also be banned from engaging in woodworking operations in Russia.
The ban does not apply to operations and services being performed under contracts concluded before the resolution enters force.
