Citibank (London), the trustee of the loan participation notes (LPN) of Bank Finance and Credit (Kyiv), issued through subsidiary Finance & Credit Ukraine BV (the Netherlands), intends to demand an early redemption of the securities from the issuer.

According to a report by Citibank on the website of the Irish Stock Exchange, the corresponding right is contained in the conditions of the notes issue and provided to the authorized agent in case of default on LPNs, which took place in connection with the liquidation of the bank.

In addition, the authorized agent considers that the security holders should take certain measures to protect their interests in case of the bank's liquidation.

In this regard, the trustee intends to instruct the securities holders to submit a claim for an early repayment of LPNs together with the interest accrued thereon.

Citibank also notes that after the announcement of the bank's liquidation is published in the official press, the LPN holders will have 30 days to notify the liquidator of the bank on their inclusion in the register of the financial institution's creditors.
