Russia's share of total exports of agricultural products from Ukraine could be reduced to a zero without causing damage to the sector, Agricultural Policy and Food Minister of Ukraine Oleksiy Pavlenko has said.

"We mainly export meat to Russia. If we see the situation regarding the sanctions we are ready to cut the Russian goods share to a zero without serious consequences," he said in an interview with Interfax-Ukraine.

"We have two goods that we import from there. This is tobacco. We could see where we can take it, this is the issue of healthy nation. This is not a critical import. This is also [about] fertilizers. We see how critical it would be, and what positions could be replaced," Pavlenko said.
