U.S. TrailStone is interested in privatization and investment in Ukraine, Head of the European integration department at the Ukrainian Energy and Coal Industry Ministry Mykhailo Bno-Airiyan has said.

"After the meeting with the Europeans I joined the minister [Volodomyr Demchyshyn] and met TrailStone private equity company, which is part of U.S. Riverstone Holdings LLC and which has $27 billion under management. The object of its interest is trading, financial purchases of natural gas, investment in energy and privatization," he wrote on his Facebook page.

Bno-Airiyan also said that in Q1, 2015 TrailStone was the ranked third amongst the companies that supplies natural gas from Europe to Ukraine in the volume of gas supplied.
