The Ukrainian Cabinet of Ministers has dismissed first deputy head of the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine Volodymyr Khomenko and deputy chairman of the Fiscal Service Anatoliy Makarenko for violating the oath of a public servant.

This is stipulated in Cabinet resolutions Nos. 233-r and 234-r dated March 23.

The Cabinet also announced decree No. 232-r, which states that the Cabinet accepts the resignation of State Fiscal Service Head Ihor Bilous.

As reported, on Monday, March 23, the Cabinet announced the results of an official investigation into the activities of the State Fiscal Service leadership, conducted by a commission headed by Minister of Economic Development and Trade Aivaras Abromavicius. The commission recommended that the Cabinet should dismiss Khomenko and Makarenko, but leave Bilous at his post under the condition that provides a plan to improve the work of the Fiscal Service.

However, Bilous instead submitted his resignation.
