The Individuals' Deposit Guarantee Fund could pay UAH 925.471 million to the depositors of insolvent Zlatobank, UAH 514.340 million - to Energobank investors (both based in Kyiv), according to the fund’s website.

Individuals' deposits in Zlatobank amount to UAH 2.812 billion, Energobank – UAH 650.629 million.

The fund also said that it has started seeking investors for the banks. The fund offers potential investors the alienation of all or part of the banks' assets and liabilities in favor of the receiving bank and the creation and sale to the investor of a transition bank with the transfer of its assets and liabilities. The deadline to apply to participate in the tender is March 2.

As reported, the fund introduced temporary administration at Zlatobank from February 14 to May 13, Energobank - from February 13 to May 12.

Zlatobank was founded in 2008. The largest shareholder of the financial institution on January 1, 2015 was Avangard-Expo (97.94%), the sole beneficiary - Olena Yakymenko.

Energobank was established in 1991.
