Ukraine expects soon to receive a $2 billion second tranche of it loan from Russian, Acting Prime Minister Serhiy Arbuzov has said.

"The agreements reached by the presidents of Ukraine and Russia are a factor of financial stability, particularly in the context of providing loans to our country. We have already received the first tranche of $3 billion and expect soon to receive a second tranche of $2 billion," he said, while opening a government meeting on Wednesday.

As reported, in December 2013, Russia and Ukraine reached an agreement on a reduction in the gas price and on a $15 billion loan.
