Party of Regions says 2014 budget is dynamic and socially oriented
Party of Regions MP Ihor Molotok, the chairman of the subcommittee on the investment programs of the state budget of the Verkhovna Rada budget committee, has noted the importance of the adoption of the state budget and said that it foresees an increase in social benefits, the party's press service has reported.
"The budget is the number one document for Ukraine. It helps the economy of our country to work," he said, adding that "our country's budget for 2014 is dynamic and socially oriented."
He said that the issue concerns an "increase in the minimum wage by 8.2%, childbirth benefits by UAH 8.8 billion (the total amount envisaged in the budget – the Party of Regions), an increase in the size of stipends for students and outstanding students, and a 25% increase in payments to orphans."
