Czech Airlines transfers flights to Terminal D at Boryspil airport

Czech Airlines has transferred its flights to the new Terminal D at Boryspil International Airport, the press service of the Infrastructure Ministry of Ukraine has said.

In addition, according to the report, from October 18 the flights of Uzbekistan Airways will be serviced in the new terminal.

From the beginning of the winter season, in particular from October 28, 2012, the following airlines will operate out of the new terminal: KLM, Air France, Lufthansa, Austrian Airlines, Alitalia, Aeroflot, Air Baltic, ELAL, and Royal Jordanian Airlines.

At present Terminal D services the regular flights of British Airways, Turkish Airlines, Air Arabia, Fly Dubai, Air One, Norwegian Air Shuttle, and Rossiya.

In addition, the terminal VIP sector from August 1, 2012 accepts VIP passengers of all airlines.

The interval of shuttle bus movement was reduced to three minutes to ease passenger traffic between terminals at the airport.

Terminal D is the largest in Ukraine and can service up to 15 million passengers per year. Its area is 107,000 square meters.

The construction of the terminal lasted from November 2008 until May 2012.
