Ukrainian Red Cross Society invites volunteers to physical rehabilitation and social support programs
The Ukrainian Red Cross (URCS) is inviting concerned citizens to join its volunteer efforts in the areas of physical rehabilitation and social support.
"This area helps people restore lost functional abilities after injuries, trauma, or illness and return to socially active lives, while also contributing to community development and the creation of a barrier-free, inclusive, and accessible society," the URCS said in a Facebook post on Monday.
Key areas of volunteer activity include assisting physical therapists during rehabilitation sessions, helping trainers conduct training courses and informational sessions, participating in the operation of rehabilitation spaces, and providing informational support to beneficiaries and their families during visits.
The URCS provides training and ongoing support for volunteers at all stages.
