FIFA issues warning to Croatia footballer for shouting Ukrainian nationalistic slogan

The International Federation of Football Associations (FIFA) has issued a formal warning to Croatia defender Domagoj Vida, who praised Ukraine after his team beat FIFA World Cup host Russia in a quarterfinal match.
A FIFA spokesperson told Interfax on Sunday that the FIFA Disciplinary Committee had issued a warning to Vida for his statements in a video filmed after the game with Russia.
The video earlier posted online shows Vida shouting the Ukrainian nationalists' slogan "Glory to Ukraine!" before the retired ex-player Ognjen Vukojevic adds "this win is for Dynamo and Ukraine [...] go Croatia."
Vukojevic and Vida are former Dynamo Kyiv players.
