Centrenergo intends to sell a significant part of produced electricity at UEEX

CE Ukrainian Energy Exchange and PJSC Centrenergo have concluded Memorandum of Interaction and Cooperation, that confirms PJSC Centrenergo`s intention to sell significant part of produced electricity at UEEX auctions.

Thus, in the period from May 14 till July 21, 2021 Company plans to conduct 10 auctions for the sale of electricity of base load with different delivery schedules. Till the end of May, the 7 auctions determined by the Memorandum will take place. Besides, the auction for the sale of peak load electricity will take place on May, 17 (08:00 a.m. till 11:00 p.m.) in the period of June – September.

"The signed Memorandum is a guarantee of reliable partnership relations between PJSC Centrenergo and CE UEEX and an important phase in building of effective work model of the Company. Our renewed strategy of trades provides electricity sale by small lots, consequently a large number of end users will be able to provide themselves with the necessary resource. We are highly appreciate UEEX contribution to the development of exchange trading, and I am confident, that our cooperation will be the impetus for the further development of electricity market of Ukraine," – mentioned Vladimir Galushchak, a Member of Management Board of PJSC Centrenergo.

From our side, Ukrainian Energy Exchange will ensure organization and conduction of transparent and competitive trading according to the best European standards.

The Memorandum of Interaction and Cooperation between the CE Ukrainian Energy Exchange and PJSC Centrenergo came into force from the moment of its signing.
