RES associations ask to reserve more energy workers for its development
Relevant RES associations consider it necessary to expand the possibilities of reserving workers of enterprises and organizations working in the energy sector in order to restore the energy system and build new capacities.
"We understand that there is a war, that mobilization is needed..., and Ukraine needs a victory. But on the other hand, we would like to note that there cannot be a full-fledged quick victory for Ukraine if the energy sector fails. Because then there will be no economy," said Chairman of the Board of Global 100% RE Ukraine, President of PJSC MHP Eco Energy Oleksandr Dombrovsky at a press conference at Interfax-Ukraine on the topic "Sun, wind & biogas: how green energy will help Ukraine survive in 2025" on Thursday.
According to him, the energy system can work stably and efficiently only if professional personnel are retained, who are currently constantly restoring the energy system, developing and building new energy projects.
For his part, the Chairman of the Board of the Ukrainian Wind Energy Association, Andriy Konechenkov, noted that not a single development company is related to critical infrastructure.
"Only companies generating electricity are being considered. But if new capacities are not built, taking into account all the declarations that we will switch to decentralized distributed generation, if the possibility of reserving specifically for construction, logistics companies, developers is not preserved, then there will simply be no one to build these new capacities," he noted.
As reported, the ability to reserve all employees has been preserved for fuel and energy complex enterprises recognized by the Ministry of Energy as critically important, as well as for employees of emergency recovery teams of communication operators approved by the Ministry of Digital transformation. At the same time, their contractors, as well as enterprises, institutions and organizations servicing life support systems, along with their contractors, have been dropped from this list, including those carrying out construction, repair and/or placement of gas piston and gas turbine units, in particular cogeneration, block-modular boiler houses, diesel/gasoline and gas generators, as well as related networks of electricity, heat, gas, water supply, and metering units.
