Mobile operator Vodafone Ukraine with the help of Starlink resumed communication in Plakhtianka village and Borodianka village, Bucha district, the company's press service said on Thursday.

"More traditional technologies have made it possible to repair communications in other villages and towns in the same region, namely in Bucha, Fasova, Marianivka and Yurov. The company's engineers have examined a number of sites and are preparing for further renewals in the region," the company said.

As reported, on April 1, Vodafone Ukraine launched a base station near the settlements of Irpin and Romanivka in a 2G and 4G configuration, the Starlink equipment kit from SpaceX is used as the transport network of this station.

Connecting the site to satellite Internet allows to ensure uninterrupted operation of the network segment even in the absence of Internet access through the traditional underground transport network. Thanks to this scheme of work, it is possible to quickly restore mobile communications in areas with damaged nodal communications.
