President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said that along with the withdrawal of Russian troops from Kyiv and Chernihiv, their accumulation in Donbas is observed.

"We also see that at this time there is an accumulation of Russian troops for new strikes in Donbas. And we are preparing for this. We don't trust anyone. Not a single 'beautiful' word, in verbal constructions. There is a real situation on the battlefield, and now this is the most important thing. We won't give anything away. And we will fight for every meter of our land, for every person," Zelensky said in a video message on Wednesday evening.

According to him, "the withdrawal of the occupying troops from the regions of Kyiv and Chernihiv and the decrease in their activity in these areas is a consequence of the expulsion by the Armed Forces of Ukraine."

"There are words about the alleged 'withdrawal' of Russian troops from Kyiv and Chernihiv. About the alleged decrease in the activity of the invaders in these areas. We know that this is not a 'withdrawal,' but a consequence of the expulsion. A consequence of the work of our defenders," he said.

The head of state also said that in the situation in which Ukraine currently finds itself, there should not be "discussions" that Ukrainian society and politicians are used to in peacetime.

"If someone pretends that he can teach our Armed Forces how to fight, how to resist the enemy, then it is better to go to the battlefield directly," he said.
