Under martial law, the state guarantees employees of educational and scientific institutions the preservation of their jobs and average wages.

Relevant bill No. 7133 on amendments to some laws on state guarantees under martial law, an emergency situation or a state of emergency was adopted by deputies at a plenary session on Tuesday, the website of the Verkhovna Rada reports.

MPs introduced into the legislation a new article "State guarantees in conditions of martial law, emergency or state of emergency." According to the novel, applicants for education, employees of educational institutions, scientific institutions, including those who, in the conditions of martial law, an emergency situation or a state of emergency in Ukraine or in its individual areas, were forced to change their place of residence (stay), leave workplace, place of study, regardless of their current place of residence (stay), for the duration of a special period, the organization of the educational process in a remote form or in any other form that is safest for its participants is guaranteed.

In addition, the law guarantees the preservation of the place of work, average earnings, the payment of scholarships and other payments provided for by law, as well as the place of residence (boarding house, hostel, etc.) and food (if necessary).
