60 armed fans of Arsenal FC detained in Lviv

A bus carrying about 60 fans of Arsenal Football Club (Kyiv) was detained on Saturday morning at the entry to Lviv, head of the press service of the main department of the Interior Ministry in Lviv, Denys Kharhuk, has said.
He said policemen checked the bus as they had received information about the possible clashes between the fans, he said.
During the checks they found knuckleduster, knives, boxing-glove s etc.
All the passengers of the bus were detained and brought to the municipal department of the Interior Ministry, where they are staying now. Twenty-one of them turned out to be citizens of the Russian Federation, the rest 39 are residents of Kyiv and other regions of Ukraine.
A match of the Ukrainian premier league between Karpaty and Arsenal football clubs will take place in Lviv on Saturday.
